This update was totaaly unplanned but after semi-doing my hair this morning, I noticed the growth. All I've been doing is co-washing 3 times per week with V-05 Conditioner from the Dollar Store mixed with a teaspoon of Baking Soda. For moisture and grooming, I slap on a homemade hair butter made from raw Shea butter, olive oil, tea tree oil, and lemon oil for fragrance-zapped in the microwave for a minute to blend. Anyway, I am ecstatic because a few months ago, I ptallractically had a bald fade. After graduating to a teeny-weeny Afro, I was able to brush it up into an anemic Afro puff. Now, I am on my way to an actual pony puff!! Check me out!!
Your hair is looking great!

Great job on growing out your hair, but be very careful pulling it back you don't want to overstress the edges and cause breakage at the hairline. Your baby is beautiful. I stumbled across your blog by way of Adrienne.

Your hair looks great! I can't wait for mine to get to the point and its all natural. Sigh. Just 3 more months to go before the BC.

I love it! I can make a puff but not a ponytail yet. But I'm still just happy about the puff. My hair is extremely thick so I think it will be a long time before i can make an actual ponytail.
