At the urging of the fabulous Serenity_23, I am here to do a lil' natural hair update! I am approaching 8 months as a natural (this time around) and my hair has truly become my favorite accessories. I am down to a few staples (cheap V05 Conditioner, Baking Soda, Coconut Oil, and KCC Knot Today leave in conditioner) and am starting to play with a few styles...like to see a few pics? Here we go:

I couldn't find a headband so I decided to braid the front of my hair into one....

I was attempting to add more pictures but Typepad is acting quite meth-headdish! Stretched out, I have approximately 7 inches of length, a far cry from what I had when I did the pic chop! Lately, I've taken to washing more often and wearing a wash n go since I've been working out and cannot stand sweaty hair. I have to admit that it feels good yet strange to get a compliment on my OWN hair. The best feeling? No glue, no thread, no burning chemicals....and being able to maintain healthy hair for pennies!
