The weather brings my favorite CCR song to mind. I took a mini-nap after work. The pitter-patter of rain helped lull me to sleep. I woke up and couldn't figure out what the kids were so excited about. This is what I saw when I looked out my front door. MrSaditty didn't take his bike or his truck, he took the car. Judging by what someone down the street told me, he won't be able to make it without the car getting flooded. Guess I'm gonna hop in my truck and go to pick him up up the road. Eeeeeke! I bet this'll bring the snakes out! My backyard looks like a lake. We are not in a flood zone and it usually has to rain for days before my front yard gets flooded. Today's flash flood only took a few hours to flood everything. And to think: hurricane season isn't even here yet! Scary to say the least...
